Obama The Movie Critic-in-Chief Heads to The U.N. General Assembly With The MSM’s Blessing

This week it is the annual Star Wars bar scene in New York City as leaders of the not-so-free world gather for the UN General Assembly. In the past we have been treated to Hugo Chavez's nosey observations, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's hopeful prayer to hasten the arrival of that ever elusive "12th Imam" to whip everyone into line under Islam, and farewell tours of such folks as Muammar Gaddafi.
But when Obama takes to the world stage he plans on re-picking the messy scab of an anti-Islam video by denouncing it, and blaiming it, ... again. First, this flies in the face of the obvious, and denials, that on 9/11/12 four American citizens were killed in a pre-planned terror attack in Benghazi, Libya. Second, repeated Joseph Goebbels-like mentioning of this inane video only results in keeping the angry Muslim world focused on it so that they cannot move onto the next outrage to riot over. Third, Obama will be creating a full-throated tone for those seeking to push the U.N. to establish "anti-blaspemy" laws on the USA and the rest of the world. Mind you, these laws would only be used as a protection for Islam, which has no problem blaspheming all other religions on a daily basis, right down to killing those non-believers in the streets. No, any U.N. "anti-blaspemy" laws would never include the dignity and preservation of Christians (which would stifle the brilliant creativity of liberal Western artists), Jews (which would cut into some great children's TV in Gaza), Buddhists, Hindus, etc. But Obama will stoke those anti-free speech fires in yet another bow and apology...
President Obama will address "the recent unrest in the Muslim world" in his speech Tuesday to the United Nations General Assembly, the White House is saying.
That includes denouncing both the protests at American diplomatic posts in the Middle East -- including the death of the U.S. ambassador to Libya -- and the anti-Islam film that is inspiring some of the protests.
"As he has in recent days, the President will make it clear that we reject the views in this video, while also underscoring that violence is never acceptable," said National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor in a memo on Obama's upcoming U.N. speech.
That message has been echoed by leaders in Libya, Egypt, Yemen and other nations, the memo stated.
John Nolte at Breitbart gives it a good kick in the ass...
My God, between the media and the Obama White House, we are finally witnessing Orwell's "1984" blossom to life.
As our economy slows, incomes shrink, unemployment creeps up, and poverty explodes -- the media assures us we're in "recovery" and that our frustrations should be taken out on "Emmanuel Goldstein," also known as "America's Successful."
As Obama's appalling policy of disengaging in the Middle East comes to fruition in the form of the region exploding and al-Qaeda's targeted assassination of an American ambassador -- the media spends two weeks savaging Mitt Romney and directing our sorrow, rage, and helplessness on "Emmanuel Goldstein," also known as "A Stupid Filmmaker."
For weeks this administration, aided and abetted by The State Media, has shamelessly lied to us about what happened in Libya. Moreover, in order to cover up and distract for unforgivable security lapses, this hapless filmmaker has been targeted for all of the blame -- certainly more blame than the Administration's failure to secure a consulate on 9/11 (of all days), but even more blame than the actual murderers.
And now, even though we know the truth about what really happened in Libya, it won't stop. It will never stop. Because Obama knows his media will never make him pay a political price for lying and scapegoating.
At all costs, the media quietly whispers amongst themselves, Obama must be reelected.
And what the MSM refuses to reveal to the viewers during their daily spoon-feeding is that an Obama donor has been connected to the freed Gitmo detainee that planned the Libya attack that killed Amb. Stevens and three others ... This as more detainees (55 of them ... 1/3 of the detainees currently being held at Gitmo) are getting ready to be let loose from Gitmo by this administration as reinforcements into the current upheaval in the Muslim world. I am sure Obama feels it will be some sort of peace offering to the Islamic world. This could explain why only 8% of American people trust the MSM today.
Three observances on the MSM today:
Elizabeth Scalia at The Anchoress: "MSM fully deserves this smackdown"
If, like me, you have become convinced that Barack Obama could eat the heart of a slaughtered kitten from the skull of a beaten puppy, while standing on the steps of the Capitol, and all the mainstream press would do was wonder whether he should wash it down with white wine or a light beer, then you will appreciate The Onion’s brutal evisceration of the mainstream media’s blind devotion to Obama, which they wholly have coming to them.
I could go on and on but it is literally amazing that with all the so-called journalists out there, they all seem to miss out on stories that are essentially what they dream about coming across when they first thought of being a journalist. If a story hurts Democrats, they bury it or deflect attention from it. I bet we wouldn't know who Bob Woodward is today if Nixon had been a Democrat.
You know, for the media types and liberals that went bat-shit crazy over the Bush lied theme, where's the outrage here? It's sad that Univision, not a major network in the traditional sense, is the one that asks questions that got Obama to drift out of his comfort zone. The funny thing is, the questions asked SHOULD have been in his comfort zone. They weren't hard hitting questions. His gaffes in his answers let you know why Obama has been avoiding the press and only showing up for Letterman and Jay-Z and The View. They don't ask hard questions. Pretty sad that the President of the United States fears his own media Democratic Operatives With A Byline.
And as part of the 9/11 anniversary attacks the one on our base in Afghanistan could be the costliest...
The Atlantic Wire: "The U.S. Suffered Its Worst Airpower Loss Since Vietnam Last Week and No One Really Noticed"
The Taliban attack on an air base in southern Afghanistan on Friday drew coverage for the way the insurgents cloaked themselves in U.S. army uniforms to gain a tactical advantage, but few have taken note of the historical proportions of the damage inflicted. John Gresham, at the Defense Media Network, has published a detailed account of the attack on Camp Bastion, in which two Marines were killed, six U.S. Marine Corps jet fighters were destroyed, and two more "significantly" damaged. Those facts were all carried in most reports, but if that just sounds like a typical damage report from a decade-long war, you're wrong. Gresham explains the devastating damage done to VMA-211, the name of the Marine Corps attack squadron that was most affected last week, noting that it is "arguably the worst day in [U.S. Marine Corps] aviation history since the Tet Offensive of 1968." Or you could go back even further. "The last time VMA-211 was combat ineffective was in December 1941, when the squadron was wiped out during the 13-day defense of Wake Island against the Japanese."

Well, MSNBC Now, (a fine collection of pukey lib commentators) doesn't understand what is found immoral about "redistribution of wealth". These people belong in a different country (can't we have someone grab them in the middle of the night and relocate them to bizzaro world? ala Elian, etc.). I would love to see them suffer the consequences of their beliefs, but unfortunately that would mean that me and mine would go down the drain with them.
