  • asombra: There’s a misspelling on that plaque. It should have read “Esta es tu caca, Fidel.”

  • asombra: Don’t worry. Castro, Inc. knows what it’s doing, and it knows its public.

  • asombra: Either these people are pitiful idiots or they think everyone else is.

  • asombra: Because, you know, Reuters cares SO much about Cubans, so it really “feels their pain.” Just like Clinton did.

Somebody is on Their Heels … Doubtful It’s The Enemy – UPDATED

heels

It is funny that the new Obama ad voiced-over by a famous Hollywood movie star declares, "Our enemies have been brought to justice." Either our enemies didn't get the memo, or our enemies have been grossly underestimated in their declared defeat. Months after Osama Bin Laden was killed by US Navy SEALs Obama, Biden and all others toiling for his re-election have been out spiking the proverbial football every chance they have gotten. This is why the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, resulting in the deaths of the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, has been left pretty much un-investigated and the administration allowed to slide by the MSM. It doesn't jibe with the Obama narrative of the administration and the media that our enemies have been defeated, and all is well. In fact, in the limited digging into the 9/11/12 terror attack in Libya (and those attacks prior to the big one) it has been found that Al Qaeda was among those planning and staging the deadly Benghazi attack. But the administration continues to stall, obfuscate, deflect, deflect some`mo, and lie (00:29 - 10:45)...

Laura Ingraham and Brit Hume finally say what we have been yelling about for weeks...

Well, you know, the media just didn't believe it should cover the investigation into a nasty failure of a sitting administration so close to the election, or something. Now comes the excuse that the reason the Benghazi ground zero site was not reached in nearly three weeks was because the FBI was waiting for Visas?!? Is the administration this incompetent or this culpable? And do not forget or doubt that those two former Navy SEALs killed in Benghazi were not only looking for weapons, but for the weapons this administration armed the Al Qaeda riddled Libyan rebels with. Now, not learning a valuable and obvious lesson from Libya as they try to decide how to strike back at the attackers (But wait! I thought they were not yet certain exactly who carried out the attack?)...

The White House has put special operations strike forces on standby and moved drones into the skies above Africa, ready to strike militant targets from Libya to Mali — if investigators can find the al-Qaida-linked group responsible for the death of the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans in Libya.

But officials say the administration, with weeks until the presidential election, is weighing whether the short-term payoff of exacting retribution on al-Qaida is worth the risk that such strikes could elevate the group's profile in the region, alienate governments the U.S. needs to fight it in the future and do little to slow the growing terror threat in North Africa.

Details on the administration's position and on its search for a possible target were provided by three current and one former administration official, as well as an analyst who was approached by the White House for help. All four spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the high-level debates publicly.

... the same administration is arming the same terrorist-driven rebels in Syria...

Most of the arms shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar al-Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists, and not the more secular opposition groups that the West wants to bolster, according to American officials and Middle Eastern diplomats. That conclusion, of which President Obama and other senior officials are aware from classified assessments of the Syrian conflict…

Let’s just stop right there.

1. When the Times says “hard-line Islamic jihadists”, it does not mean the Muslim Brotherhood’s militias. It means Al Qaeda, groups linked to Al Qaeda or groups just as bad as those groups. We are talking Caliphate Now and Kill Anyone Who Gets in the Way types.

2. As Biden admitted during the debate, Obama outsourced the arms decision making process to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey. All 3 countries are run by Islamists. All 3 have extensive ties to Al Qaeda. Putting Qatar or Saudi Arabia in charge of a weapons program to Syrian rebels meant that those weapons were always going to end up in the hands of Islamists.

3. This is a religious war between Shiite Alawites and Sunnis. There is no true “secular” opposition and the Free Syrian Army has been conducting joint operations with the Al Qaeda linked Al Nusra front.

The United States is not sending arms directly to the Syrian opposition. Instead, it is providing intelligence and other support for shipments of secondhand light weapons like rifles and grenades into Syria, mainly orchestrated from Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The reports indicate that the shipments organized from Qatar, in particular, are largely going to hard-line Islamists.

In other news, rain is wet and Qatar is a terrorist supporting entity which has been a big player in creating the Arab Spring. And even if you haven’t heard of Qatar, you have heard of their pet news network and favorite propaganda outlet of Al Qaeda… Al Jazeera.

However, smiling Joe Biden says Don't worry be happy about that whole Al Qaeda thing in Syria. They really are able to tell the good guys from the bad guys... Oh, and yes, Syria is an internal religious civil war unfolding, as are much of the post "Arab Spring" things.

UPDATE:

Hillary sorta kinda takes the blame...

I take responsibility" for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru, for a visit. The interview, one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, was the first she has given about the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

Clinton insisted President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are not involved in security decisions.

"I want to avoid some kind of political gotcha," she added, noting that it is close to the election.

HotAir: Reuters: State Dep’t suspected in April that Libyan guards at Benghazi consulate had tried to attack it

  • [...] already fallen on her sword over Benghazi to cover Obama's butt. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Hollywood's celebrity babes try to rattle [...]

  • My question remains unanswered, and maybe even unasked.

Now we know that there was in fact absolutely no demonstration of any sort going on outside the Benghazi compound prior to the attack, but yet as we all know, the original assessment was that the attack was a "spontaneous protest" against a YouTube video gone violent.

That story was fabricated out of thin air, it had to be since there was no protest going on.

Ambassador Stevens held meeting inside the compound until 8:30 the evening of the 11th, so roughly an hour before the attack, Steven was conducting business as usual. You HAVE to think that 1) if there were angry protests (I've never actually seen a protest that wasn't motivated by anger) outside the embassy, there would have been no meetings, or visiting diplomats moving in and out of the compound, and 2) the security staff would have in some way contacted SOMEONE in the State Department, outside that compound to advise them of the protests.

But no one in the administration has provided any manner of proof that there was any sort of a report on protests outside the compound prior to the attack, so you'd have to believe that the security personnel in place were so absolutely unconcerned about a protest raging just outside the small, lightly-guarded compound, that they didn't bother to report anything at all to anyone in the State Department, or that having reported a protest outside the compound, Eric Nordstrom, Regional Security Officer of the US Embassy in Libya (the person who would receive such reports) and/or his staff, chose to ignore it, in spite of the fact that he/they had been routinely reporting unique incidents in Benghazi (48 between July of 2001, and July 2012) and 200 overall in Libya during the same period of time, for a year, and were sufficiently concerned about the security of the embassy staff t have submitted two unanswered requests for heightened security just week prior to the attack.

Somebody in the administration made up the video and "spontaneous protest" story out of whole cloth, and since it couldn't have been based on any factual evidence, then it must have been concocted for a reason, and that reason couldn't be anything other than to deflect accountability for the attacks and loss of life FROM the administration during the crucial last few weeks of a tight Presidential race.

Who is that "somebody", and how close are they to the White House?

Now Luis, don't be coy. You're a bright guy. Just don't expect O-baba to man up.

So is that photo Hillary, or Willie Nelson in drag?

  • asombra...I expect the alternative media to start repeating the appropriate phrase between now, and election day:

"Obama lied when our people died."
