Mitt Romney’s surprisingly hilarious speech at the Al Smith dinner

I have to say, I'm starting to love this classy guy, Mitt Romney. What a difference an election could make. Go Mitt!

    Mitt Romney was hilarious!

It is me or Mitt Romney is sounding more Presidential?

  • Either that or we are just getting a view of the real Mitt sin the MSM filter.

Freedom, he sure seems to have more pep and 'swagger' (hate the word, but at a loss for another one).

I was a Gingrich man, and to be honest am not crazy about a Mormon President - but I like the Mitt of the last month better than the previous one.

Either way, I'd take a goat in the WH if it meant Obama goes.

asombra, I voted for Gingrich in the primaries, thought I must admit that my approval for Romney has improved tremendously as of late.

I never had an issue with a Mormon President as long as he's a good individual, a good President that respects and protects American values. I feel Mitt Romney fits that bill.

I must say I really like the way Mitt Romney has been portraying himself since the beginning of the RNC and not the stiff person perception that many people (including me) had about him. I have no problems with him as my future President and it's obvious that the very negative picture of him portrayed by the Obama campaign and the MSM is quickly unraveling as the real Mitt Romney displays his more personal side in the media to the American people.

How would you like to have been Katie Couric during his speech? How could she laugh when so many of the jokes were on her?
Romney was so perfect here. "So little time; so much redistribution left to do." This was impressive. I kept saying "Wow" to myself all through at the audacity of his jokes. Whoever wrote this gets an A plus from me and I hope will stay with Romney to help write his speeches.
