When “Hostess Twinkies” Became a Meme

I have been seeing some interesting Facebook memes regarding the union-imposed extinction of the Hostess company and the beloved Twinkie, among other yummy snack cakes in the line. However, I had to share this one so Humberto was sure to see it, since Keith is his rock idol.

My son-in-law came in for the weekend last night and was itching to hit all the local stores for their Twinkie supplies. He wasn't the only one looking to hoard the tasty cream-filled sponge cake. As stores begin to sell out of their existing Twinkie stocks people are hitting ebay and paying premium prices for the treats. However, don't fear. The American capitalist consumer supply and demand spirit is still alive and well in these economically questionable times, and the Hostess brands could be acquired by other companies.

Ace at AoSHQ finds union thug-in-chief Richard Trumpka blaming Bain, of course, because Bain is nowhere in the known universe responsible for the Hostess company's problems ... the union is.
