Photo of the day — A reminder of Cuban lives lost
Nancy Perez took this photograph of an empty Cuban raft that washed up in Cutler Bay. Its previous occupants most likely joined the thousands or tens of thousands of Cubans who have lost their lives in the Florida Straits attempting to escape the island prison (via The Miami Herald):

A Styrofoam boat rests at the edge of the water, its contents indicating the passengers didn’t survive.























Shoulda been content with the "free" education and health care. Move along.
