Cuba: Harold Cepero and the 33rd birthday he will never celebrate

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0gK_eu8hoKQ/UQgtclv3FOI/AAAAAAAAFqM/bYZ8yN-UZmM/s1600/798402_470340153027885_2076170307_o.jpg

If it were not for his assassination by the Castro dictatorship, Cuban dissident and human rights activist Harold Cepero Escalante would have celebrated his 33rd birthday yesterday. But alas, his murder along with Oswaldo Payá last year ensured Harold would never live to see this day.

But we will not forget him, or Oswaldo, or the countless other brave and courageous Cubans who gave their lives for the freedom of Cuba.

Read more about Harold at Notes from the Cuban Exile Quarter.
