It looks as if Che is getting some competition in Spain, where the restored Christ of Borja image has made its way onto t-shirts.

Long live the restoration!  Whether or not this is viewed as  a joke, the juxtaposition is apt, and it speaks volumes.  The "Revolution" and the "Restoration" have had a very similar effect on the original item.  The painting was ruined, Cuba was ruined; and, in both cases, the ruin has attracted tourists who find it charming.
