BREAKING NEWS: Cuban official admits press freedoms are limited in Cuba

Okay, it is not really breaking news; everyone knows this whether they have the courage and decency to admit it or not. But it is always interesting if not entertaining to watch a Castro dictatorship official squirm and writhe in pain whenever they address issues regarding liberty. It is so reminiscent of "Cuba Experts" engaged in their daily routine of equivocating the atrocities of the Castro dictatorship and justifying their vile actions.

Cuban VP Admits “Limitations” Exist on Press

HAVANA – Cuba’s senior vice president admitted that “limitations” exist on the work of the press on the island, Communist Party daily Granma said Wednesday.

Miguel Diaz-Canel, who moved into the post of first vice president in February, spoke with reporters during a tour through the central province of Ciego de Avila and “admitted that limitations exist on the work of the press professionals.”

“But he issued a call to perfect the work of the media, from a scientific, innovative, revolutionary perspective in the face of the challenges imposed by the ideological subversion that (Cuba’s) enemies are unleashing against the country,” the newspaper added.
