Jimmy Carter goes crazy, betrays liberal principles. What’s next? Betraying Castro?

do-you-think-willie-knows-broa

But... but... he is such a paragon of virtue, rectitude, and political correctness. ... you must be lying.....

No.  Not joking, or lying.  No trickery involved.

Jimmy Carter, one of Fidel Castro's best friends, and the elder statesman of liberal American politics has unexpectedly disappointed millions upon millions of liberals.

He has refused the Total Package required of bona-fide liberal ideologues by rejecting the legalization of marijuana.

And, as everyone knows to be a bona-fide liberal you must accept the Total Package.  No picking and choosing.  No cafeteria liberalism allowed.  After all, the Total Package is the cornerstone of the Totalitarianism that all liberals hanker for, consciously and unconsciously.

What, Jimmy?  Say it ain't so!   How can you reject such an important principle.  Why.... why... even the Kennedy family supports it!

Why, it's like the Greek Orthodox Church rejecting the "filioque" clause added to the Creed by Frankish theologians back in the ninth century.    Anathema!!!!

Jimmy Carter Comes Out Against Marijuana Legalization

President Jimmy Carter has come out against marijuana legalization, according to Project SAM, the anti-marijuana group started earlier this year by former Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.) and Kevin Sabet, a former advisor in the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy...

Carter says: "I do not favor legalization. We must do everything we can to discourage marijuana use, as we do now with tobacco and excessive drinking," President Carter told the crowd. "We have to prevent making marijuana smoking from becoming attractive to young people, which is, I'm sure, what the producers of marijuana....are going to try and do."

Much more HERE.

Ultimately, Carter is an example of how fallible "the people" are. It's not polite, let alone "correct" to say so, but LOTS of people simply cannot be trusted to judge and choose properly, not even for themselves (let alone others), because they either can't or won't. Yet, they get to vote, meaning they get to affect everybody's life, and no matter how bad the consequences, they're never held accountable, nor is there any restitution to those that saw clearly and chose correctly but got screwed anyway. This is basically what happened in Cuba with "the revolution," and it's obviously what's happened here more recently with Obama. I don't know what the answer is, but there is obviously one hell of a problem. It is NOT anybody's "right" to screw over other people because he or she is stupid, deluded, selfish or perverse, and any system that enables that is seriously flawed.
