Another Cuban baseball star defects from Castro national team

Another baseball star has defected from the Cuban national team owned by the Castro dictatorship. Apparently, the wonderful and magnanimous reforms of dictator Raul Castro were not enough to convince the athlete to remain a slave of Cuba's monarchical dictatorship.

Cuban authorities have confirmed the defection of pitcher Odrisamer Despaigne, a member of the national team currently participating in the XIV Rotterdam International Tournament in Holland.

Confirmation of the escape by the star pitcher came from the official newspaper Granma although no official of the Cuban delegation was mentioned as a source.
