Part of the reason Puig plays with an infectious joy on the baseball field, as if he is unburdened, is because in America, he no longer has to live day-to-day worrying about what an oppressive government may do to him.

  • Love Yasiel! Friends in the local Cuban community have arranged an event, bus to Dodger Stadium and right field (Yasiel's position) tickets to cheer him on Cuban style. I can't remember when there's been this much Dodger excitement in town.
