We know that the fundamental failures evident in the photo still remain unresolved.

UPDATE: The professor is not only absent minded but partially blind --- actually, almost  legally blind.

Readers point out that this is a photoshop image.  Yeah, looks like it, upon closer inspection.

Fooled me, for sure.  But even so, it points to a real possibility in that land of impossible realities.

Not too far-fetched.
