U.S. beats Cuba 6-1 in the Pan American minors baseball tournament in Colombia

Yet another embarrassing defeat for the Castro dictatorship as it once again loses to the U.S.

U.S. beats Cuba 6-1 and wins the Pan American Baseball tournament in the Sub-15 category

Infielder Andrew Vaughn hit a 3-run homer that sealed the victory.

This Sunday the U.S. defeated Cuba 6-1 and convincingly won the Sub-15 Pan American Baseball Championship in Barranquilla, Colombia, which began on July 27th.

The Cubans, who handily beat the host team during the tournament to reach the finals, found themselves in a deep hole and unable to deal with the pitching of Texan Mason Thompson, who also contributed with his bat to ensure victory for his team.
