Cuba 2013: ¡El Mulaconazo!

In 1994, Cuba experienced "El Maleconazo" where thousands of Cubans suddenly poured onto Havana's famed sea-side boulevard El Malecon in protest, only to be quickly quashed by the repressive forces of the Castro dictatorship.

Fast forward to 2013 and the situation looks markedly different, as Guamá Periodico points out in their latest issue:
