More on Castro’s hideous defeat in Angola
"Bring it on! Ladies with flowers! We'll show you! "NUTS!" We have not yet BEGUN to fight!"
"Now when it came to these guys (South African Defense Forces)--YIKES! Even though we outnumbered them 4 to 1--"A correr liberales de Perico!" (we outran the very gazelles and hyenas in retreat!)"
Say that on Dec. 26, 1944 the Western Allies, reeling from their rout by German forces who blasted them 50 miles back from the German border to Spa in Belgium, had gotten cold feet, thrown in the towel, and sued for peace.
Say the entire world then started hailing "the allied victory at Spa" and this victory became enshrined in the history books.
The very notion is absurd.
The Allies destination, remember, was Berlin (or the Elbe River in central Germany.) Spa was actually the low water mark of their most recent defeat. So any attempt to enshrine an allied victory at Spa would be laughed off the history books.
Only Castro can get away with a a similar scam.
As explained by many sources including Reagan's Asst. Sec of State Chester Crocker, Cuito Cuanavale in Angola was 120 kilometers distant from the objective of the Cuban/MPLA attack, a town named Mavinga then controlled by South African/UNITA forces. Cuito Cuanavale is actually where the forces led by Castro's three star and "crackerjack" general Ochoa (another plodding, moronic ass-kisser, actually, like all of Castro's military men, there simply is no exception) started from and then retreated back to in a disorganized and humiliating rout at the hands of SADF/UNITA forces. In the words of Chester Crocker the South Africans and UNITA forces "SMASHED!" the Cuban offensive.
And yet the world still hails "the Cuban victory at Cuito Cuanavale."
Again, who but Castro (as always with his invaluable worldwide media and "expert" propaganda auxiliaries) could ever hope to pull off such a successful disinformation scam?
(And who but Babalu would help expose it.)
In fact the "Cuban victory at Cuito Cuanavale" belongs right alongside "the glorious guerrilla war fought by the Julio 26 against Batista," Cuba's "free and fabulous healthcare," "Raul's Reforms".."Mega oil deposits off Cuban coast", "repair of obsolete Cuban military equipt. by North Koreans..blah...bla
Let's see how Castro's propaganda auxiliaries reported Cuito, shall we:
"South Africa simply got its teeth broken against the iron-strong resistance of Cuito Cuanavale, (by Cuban forces)" New York Times, May 18, 1988.
"In 1987-88 Cuban and MPLA forces defeated South Africa and UNITA at the Battle of Cuito Cuanavale." Julia Sweig.
Fascinating reading from both black and white southern Africans document the hideous rout of Castro's military in Angola.
From a Black Namibian nationalist and Human Rights activist: "All the loose talk about the supposedly “glorious battle of Cuito Cuanavale” is a Cuban-made myth, parroted by some people without taking into consideration very important facts.
