We get FIVE TIMES more oil from Venezuela than from Kuwait! So should we hold our breaths for Operation “Jungle–Llano Storm?”

The U.S. imports OVER FIVE TIMES as much oil from Venezuela as from Kuwait. To keep Kuwait out of the hands of a terror-sponsoring regime the U.S. took a pretty “hard-line” position, if I recall.

Well, Cuba is a terror-sponsoring regime, and according to a source quoted by the (genuine) Venezuelan expert Amb. Roger Noriega:

“There is not a ‘Chavista‘ government in Venezuela today — it is a ‘Cuban’ government, instead.”

Well?....Should we hold our breath for some consistency in U.S. foreign policy? Or does a tiny but wealthy and influential cabal still dictate the archaic, counterproductive, cold war-era Cuba policy whose double-standards have made us the world's laughingstock?
