Image of the Day – Baby born in Venezuela with scars from rubber bullets shot at his mother

The disturbing picture below is of a newborn baby born at 36 weeks when his mother went into labor after being shot on her pregnant belly with rubber bullets fired by the Cuban-controlled State Security forces in Venezuela. Amazingly, the baby appears to be otherwise healthy, except for the scars and welts left behind by the rubber bullets.
