In a court hearing earlier this week where he faced a Cuba-style corrupt judicial system, unjustly imprisoned Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez had this to say about his children and the future of his country:
“I prefer to explain to my children why I am imprisoned than explain to them why they no longer have a country.”
