Quote of the Day – Cuba’s crown princess Mariela Castro defines ‘Socialism’

In an article in the Ottawa Citizen filled with hilarious and juicy quotes such as claiming Cuba’s totalitarian apartheid dictatorship is a “democracy” and how the Castro regime’s 55-year-long murderous and disastrous failure of a revolution is still a noble work in progress and “developing,” the daughter of dictator Raul Castro and crown princess of Cuba Mariela Castro defines the term Socialism:

Her [Mariel Castro] brand of socialism is one where “humans organize themselves according to state policy.”

Individuals beholden to and restricted by a government policy written by unelected dictators who remain in power strictly through the use of force: Yep, sounds like democracy to me.

  1. Yes, she’s a shameless fraud, but that IS her job. The real problem here is foreign media who treat her as legitimate or take her BS at face value, which would NEVER happen if she were the daughter of a right-wing dictator. In other words, I expect her to act exactly like what she is, just as I expect a cobra to be poisonous or a cockroach to be disgusting. If she didn’t serve the interests of Castro, Inc., she would NOT be a high-profile public “spokesperson” for Daddy’s regime. However, I also expect free people who surely know better (unless they’re mentally defective) NOT to play into her hands, which are also her father’s hands, and those hands are VERY bloody.
