Quote of the Day – Cuba’s Catholic Cardinal reminisces about the good old days in a Castro concentration camp for gays and dissidents

Leave it up to the corrupt and compromised Archbishop of Havana, Cardinal Jaime Ortega, to some how attempt to put a positive spin on the time he spent interred in one of the Castro dictatorship’s UMAP facilities, concentration camps used by the regime to hold dissidents and “counterrevolutionary” homosexuals rounded up by Cuban State Security.

Via Diario de Cuba (my translation):

“The UMAP camps were a unique experience for a priest.”
