I can think of no one more worthy of the prize.   I am so pleased with this news, my emotions are overflowing.  Pray that this nomination will help Dr. Biscet gain his release from the gulag, and further the cause of freedom for Cuba.

Well technically the event was located in Hollywood, but I wouldn't want anyone to confuse the  important subject matter of the documentary, Oscar's Cuba, with the triviality of tinsel town.

My daughter, Kikita, just returned from a trip to Cuba. She visited the places of my childhood and was finally able to connect the stories to the places that live only in fading memory for me.
