I can think of no one more worthy of the prize. I am so pleased with this news, my emotions are overflowing. Pray that this nomination will help Dr. Biscet gain his release from the gulag, and further the cause of freedom for Cuba.

First the lying dictators said there were no political prisoners in Cuba; then they announced they were releasing them. Where are they? Still in prison, behind bars, or the prison of forced exile.
Today is Dr. Oscar Biscet's birthday, he is 49 years old. Why isn't he free?
We demand the unconditional release of all Cuban political [...]

Well technically the event was located in Hollywood, but I wouldn't want anyone to confuse the important subject matter of the documentary, Oscar's Cuba, with the triviality of tinsel town.
Over 300 Cubans and friends from all over Southern California, and as far away as Miami joined together with Jordan Allott, Executive Producer/Co-Director, his brother Daniel [...]

My daughter, Kikita, just returned from a trip to Cuba. She visited the places of my childhood and was finally able to connect the stories to the places that live only in fading memory for me.
What she saw and experienced during that amazing week has impacted her deeply.
I'll let her take it from here....
My whole [...]

An inspirational new documentary brings to
U.S. audiences an American filmmaker's
message of Cuba's prisoners of conscience.
IN ALTUM PRODUCTIONS & THE PAN-AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, Los Angeles (March 15, 2010) - - OSCAR'S CUBA, a documentary about Amnesty International's prisoner of conscience and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Dr. Oscar E. Biscet, will be pre-screened in [...]

You'd think that 51 years of barbaric tyranny would be enough to capture world opinion. I came across these powerful words written to free Mandela; change a few of them and they more than apply to Cuba, except of course that there is NO international campaign to free Cuba's political prisoners, or to liberate [...]

I can't think of any one more deserving to win, or who would do more to restore the status of the prize.
To wit:
To: The United Nations, the Norwegian Nobel Committee, the Organization of American States (OAS, OEA), the European Union, the US Congress, and the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates
We, the undersigned, would like to nominate [...]
