Well it seems as if the Lost City Soundtrack will finally be available as of March 12th. The film was beautiful but the Music was spectacular. You can pre-order your copy from Amazon.com by clicking the link.

I’ve had my order in at Amazon since last summer, and even though the music is available on other CD’s I can’t wait for this wonderful musical narration of the film. Cachao is indeed the master, his music changed my life.
I,too, have had this on order FOREVER!
Waiting now with bated breath…
Henry (or anyone else)… does anybody know anything about the cause of the craziness in the release dates for this CD? I haven’t placed an order because I’m a colege student, but if I knew I wouldn’t be needing that 15 bucks or so between now and release, I would be first in line.
I’m not sure what the delay was but I suspect it has something to do with the publishing clearances. Since most of the songs were previously published they each had to be negotiated for the soundtrack. I also thought I heard Mr. Garcia say that it’s a double CD. Perhaps he decided to add songs to the soundtrack (a lot of times soundtracks don’t have all the songs from a movie and the clearances are usually the culprit there too).
You can pre-order and they won’t charge you until they ship the CD.
