In 1992, former South Vietnamese air force pilot Ly Tong hijacked an Air Vietnam airliner and forced the pilot to fly over Ho Chi Minh City repeatedly while he dropped thousands of leaflets calling for an uprising. He was sentenced to 20 years and later released as part of an amnesty in 1998. But here’s the kicker:
Shortly afterwards, he flew a small plane from the United States to Cuba dropping leaflets calling President Fidel Castro ‘an old dinosaur’ and urging revolution,
