And the empty counters. And the guys wearing Levi’s. And what appears to be a guy holding a greenback.
So does the dominoes being played sitting at a bar instead of your usual small table for four.
One look at the little girl’s eyes and there you have it: despair. Hopelessness at that tender age. Is that the future of Cuba? We can rebuild the cities, roads, and industries in 10 or 15 years. How long to restore her optimism? That will be the greatest challange our island will ever face. How do give hope to a hopless nation?
