Cuba Nostalgia Artist Spotlight: Tony Mendoza

I couldn’t let the opportunity to talk about Tony Mendoza and his great artwork pass me by since he’s a fellow exhibitor here at Cuba Nostalgia. Tony painted this piece which is on my wall at home and for which he gave me permission to use for my Ask a Cuban-American feature at CubanAmericanPundits.com.

Here’s Tony at his exhibit in the main convention hall.

I thought this piece was particularly appropriate since the theme of this year’s Cuba Nostalgia event is La Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre.

And here’s a piece for our brothers and sisters in New Jersey.

Make sure to check out Tony’s web site to learn more about his art and which festivals he’ll be exhibiting at.
