Today’s FrontPage Magazine features an interview with Frank Berman, author of the new book, Perfect Spy: The Incredible Double Life of Pham Xuan An Time Magazine Reporter and Vietnamese Communist Agent. Fascinating stuff.

NPR’s Weekend Edition had done a piece on him as well. Really interesting.

I wonder how many of today’s reporters on the MSM we will be reading about in 30 years. Judging from the reports we get about life in Cuba and the favorable news in the MSM about the communist regime, I wonder if we can expect some revelations in the future about a few of them being in castro’s payroll. Who knows maybe we can read a book about a certain male reporter from CBS news or a female reporter from ABC news getting a little money for their efforts on behalf of the Maximum Invisible Blogger.
The mentality and spirit of Herbert Matthews lives on in Frank Berman.
Possible future title: Oscar Corral and Cuban Quislings?
I am whole-heartedly convinced that this woman is most surely working with the DGI.

The FP interviewer has a very good attitude. I wish more interviewers were like that.
