Not so much an idiot as someone with a MISSION!
Mayor Jack Ellis (AKA Hakim Mansour Ellis) leaves office at the end of this year. Robert Reichert, who won the Democratic Primary, will face Republican David Cousino in November. Mayor Ellis then plans to head to Vietnam for the 40 year anniversary of the Tet Offensive . Rumor has it that he’s invited none other than Jane Fonda to join him on the trip. Mayor Ellis converted to Islam (Sunni Muslim) in December 2006 while visiting Senegal.
C. Jack as we call him has been just like Chavez, a disaster wherever he goes. Because of him, Macon has had unpresidented flight to outlying counties. He has driven away new businesses, run out old businesses, lost countless sports teams, has millions of funds missing, and has angered everyone in the state. He has had several recall efforts against him, but none can seem to get enough traction to get him out. We can’t wait for the Nov. elections to put the city back in good health.
