…with the Venezuelan students. The Coalición Juvenil Martiana, or CJM, described as a civic organization which promotes democratic change in Cuba, has sent a message of solidarity to the Venezuelan demonstrators. It reads in part:
The young democrats of Cuba refer to the words of our national apostle Jose Martí: “Tyranny is the same in all its forms, although some may cloak themselves in beautiful names and great deeds.” We urge our Venezuelan brothers to not cede a millimeter in the defense of their rights and freedoms. May our total support and solidarity for their noble cause, which is also ours, reach them.
