  1. Exactly Delacova – He just walked away, washed his hands of the affair, and considered himself absolved from responsibility. Thanks to the usual suspects, the American public probably agrees with his decision and would say that returning Elian was the right thing to do. Meanwhile the quest to get a signed Israeli-Palestinian peace deal on paper continues, no matter the reality on the ground. It seems U.S. presidents are especially adept at selling out allies.
