Reports have been coming out of Cuba that British movie star Jude Law had a supernatural encounter with the ghost of Frank Sinatra in his hotel room at the Havana Hotel Nacional. He was there with his family celebrating his birthday when he returned to his room after quite a few drinks and found what he perceived to be Frank Sinatra’s disembodied spirit rummaging through his hotel room mini-bar and eating up all the goodies. Jude, surprised by the uninvited guest, ran back down to the lobby where hotel personnel quickly moved him to another room.
I can imagine if I were a hungry poltergeist trapped in communist Cuba, I would have no choice but to hangout at the popular tourist hotels. Where else would I find a steady supply of food?
I can also imagine that if I were Pepito Suarez, Cuban citizen and maintenance guy at the Hotel Nacional in Cuba, I would be hanging out at a foreign guest’s mini-bar, too. Where else would I find a steady supply of food?
No one is mentioning the distinct likelihood that the ghost seen by Jude Law was actually a hungry and oppressed Cuban trying to feed himself and his family, but that would not make for such a salacious story.
I am sure Pepito Suarez is quite happy they blamed it on Frank Sinatra’s specter, and not on him.

Mr. Law probably has that creepy feeling that someone is watching him……
I always feel like somebody’s watching me,
And I have no privacy
Whooooa, oh-oh
I know this is in bad taste…but..hasta los muertos en Cuba tienen hambre
You have got to be kidding me. Please tell me this is a joke. Sounds like Law’s been smoking too much reefer to me!
It was probably the “Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come” in order to prompt Jude to adopt a more caring attitude in life. Asshole! What’s he doing in Cuba celebrating Christmas when Cuban nationals are forbidden to celebrate? Hijo de ….!
If in the USA and the UK Jude Law usually behaves openly as such a drunken and drugged scumbag, imagine what he’s doing in Havana…
