Quote of the Day

“I am not physically able to speak directly to the citizens of the municipality where I was nominated for our elections next Sunday,” the ailing 81-year-old wrote in an essay published Wednesday by state news media.
This in a report from the very AP that described him as “frail, alert, and playful” seemingly minutes ago.

  1. I expect all that Lula heard coming from his vile mouth was gibberish, at which he dutifully smiled and nodded his head as one does when dealing with a demented relative.
    The media is beyond disgusting.

  2. My eight year old grandson behaves exacly the same way. I don’t care about the pictures. Just give me sound, sound, sound… That’s what I want!

  3. Shows what Bullshit this Lula is, First he says Fidel is Strong and ready to resume his duties, then Castro says he is too weak to speak.
In my Cuban Interpretation it means, He is dead and they are waitig for him to shut up so they can burry his ass.

  4. Yahoo’s headline was he was “Not Well Enough to Campaign” which I think is a big ****ing HOOT! (Here is the video: http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/?rn=3906861&cl=5971914&ch=4226714&src=news
Can you see him stomping for his seat, kissing babies, printing bumper stickers “VA BIEN CON FIDEL” and showing on air ads to get people to vote for him, slinging mud against his imaginary opponents? Ooh! How about a debate? That would be fun. He would debate… um… er… I mean, isn’t THAT what campaigning is? And when has Mr. castro ever had to participate in such an activity?
    Dame un “freno”
    Claudia
