What uglyness. Were the two bottom pictures taken at a prison??
These photos were taken during a concert given at a Cuban prison by the insipid tool of the dictatorship, Silvio Rodriguez.
The funny thing is that the press was invited to attend so that they could document for the world how the regime brings “art and culture” to those that are languishing in its jails. They made sure, though, that all the buildings at the prison were freshly painted and they hung up a bunch of banners, posters, and slogans extolling the revolution and che.
I don’t think they had any idea how pictures from this event would look so similar to scenes from Orwell’s 1984.
