Iraq Vets for Congress

Given the fact that regardless of who wins the Presidential election in November it will be a Democrat, the upcoming congressional elections are going to be VERY important. Today I was listening to POTUS 08 on XM satellite radio and heard about this web site called Iraq Veterans for Congress. There currently 12 Iraq veterans that are running for congress who describe themselves as pro-victory Republicans. Please stop by their site, and if you can afford it please donate to their campaigns.

  1. how do you know that?
    Easy.
    Obama=Democrat
    Clinton=Democrat
    McCain=Democrat
    That’s a 100% chance of a Democrat being elected in November.
    As for Fred’s endorsement:
    a) it doesn’t surprise me. It’s well-known that they are friends. Thompson’s sole black mark on his record was a misguided vote in favor of the McCain-Feingold Bill.
    b) it’s telling that he didn’t make the endorsement until every other serious contender dropped out of the race. Huckabee is making it interesting in this post-Mitt race and more help for McCain from a conservative southerner is surely welcome by McCain.

  3. Peter, what the hell does the word “denoating” mean?
    Henry, I am sorely disappointed at Fred, friend or not, for endorsing McCain. It just proves that in Washington principles are non-existent and connections are all-important.

  4. Who was he going to endorse? Huckabee? Please. He’s maybe cruising for the Veep nod or maybe Attorney General. As a former Senator, Thompson should sail through confirmation.

  6. george, i’d rather have fred as veep than huck. especially since there’s a big chance that old man mccain kicks it inside of 4 years.

  8. Mitt is a real patriot who understands what’s coming to America and that is why he pulled out, he will endorse Mac and so will many others ultimately, maybe even Rush, other than George Washington and Andrew Jackson no other presidential material has even come close to enduring what Mac endured for America (you could say Grant but he ended up a drunk, the price of doing horror for your country when horror was needed), the alternatives now are a commie law firm carpet bagger who run uncontrollably to embrace the head of the Federacion de Mujeres Cubanas and a dubious Manchurian Candidate who is already talking about meeting with the Mommie and his bro for the deal that would save their ship. May God help us.
