This should make Michelle proud…

It pays to be a great oratator:

[W]hen it comes to Obama, hyperbole seems to be the rule, not the exception.
His charms seem tough to resist, even for some of Hollywood’s biggest names.
“He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere,” George Clooney told talk show host Charlie Rose.
“I’ll do whatever he says to do,” actress Halle Berry said to the Philadelphia Daily News. “I’ll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear.”
Welcome to the cult of Barack Obama.

  1. These star f-ckers sound like the jerks who did the same for Fidel when he came to power.
    Freaking Hollywood tools.

  2. Oh, and Georgie boy, if you actually think your opinion about any political issue of any kind is even remotely significant or relevant to anyone but yourself, please buy yourself a clue. You can easily afford to do so.
Honestly, why would anybody give a shit what these deluded, conceited, totally outside reality celebrity types think about anything, except maybe show business?

  3. Cult of Personality. Hey Benito, Adolf, and fifo were good orators; albeit murdering sob’s ….
the mindless twits followed them and likewise the mindless hollywood twits will likewise spreak their buttcheeks if so told.
they should listen to Dylan … don’t follow leaders, watch the parking meters….

  4. George (Moneo), I didn’t even check to see who had posted this. I thought it was obvious that I was referring to Clooney, but apparently not obvious enough.

  5. Barack + Michelle = a mile wide and an 0.5 inch deep
It’s my understanding that these two demagogues have Harvard/law degrees and a house in the suburbs. A hefty bank account. Their daughters are in private school. That’s a pretty good living from working for non-profit “community activist” outfits, don’t ya think?
Leftists are incurably condescending, always pontificating about the plight of the poor and downtrodden that know nothing about except from books and post-Civil War anectdotes. They pretend we’re marching on Washington with MLK. How utterly disgusting that they draw as many people as they do. If anything, it’s a statement on the ignorance of the populace, bred as it is on the nurture of the public schools.

  6. No prob, asombra. I deleted my comment. Somebody came at me with a similar “Georgey Boy” a few days ago and my sledgehammer just came out swinging like Thor at a barbarian party…

  7. Gigi it’s the cult of personality. Doesn’t matter what walk of life your from. It’s not the public schools; it’s human nature. In Nazi Germany you had some of the greatest scientific minds collaborate with the Nazi’s. Ignorant they were not.
In Cuba you had the intellectuals and very educated supporting fifo.
There is an innate human quality that attracts certain individuals to charismatic people; they want to be told what to do. They want to be led. This behavior is what draws some people to religious leaders, cult leaders, political leaders, rock stars, etc. They find comradeship being part of a group. Being mainly unfulfilled spiritually, emotionally, or intellectually, they look toward the personality du jour which in this case is Mr. Obama. There are people who follow him not even knowing what he stands for. I’m sure there are people who follow him even though they disagree with him on 100% of the issues.
Like sheep, these people need to be led. You can educate people but you can’t teach them how to think for themselves. That’s something we all have to do on our own.
What I can compare it to is how stupid even the most intelligent man will act when confronted by a buxom attractive woman. After the effect runs off the man realizes that he’s been talking to someone with a personality of a rock but his mind was somewhere else. So folks need to wake up and in time will hopefully see that the Emperor’s new clothes is just repackaged socialist ideals in an attractive new packaging.

  8. It’s called Populism!
Obama is the new “Populist Democrat.” It didn’t work back the 1890s let’s hope it won’t work now.
