No. Thank you.

We received the following message from Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen about CubaNostalgia:

It was packed. Went Sunday at 5pm. Great to see so many types of folks interested in the history of Cuba, past and present. Congrats to BabaluBlog for asking folks to register on the Babalu computers, asking for the unconditional release of all Cuban political prisoners.
How wonderful that hundreds signed unto that petition. Also inspiring was the huge poster of Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet that was a work of art, done by an east European artist. This shows the international solidarity of the cause of opposition leaders on the island. The Babalu site was one of the most inspiring exhibits! I was pleased to be there with my mother and a few young people, like Ariel Fernandez and Javier Carroso. This shows that the cause of a free Cuba is a transgenerational struggle that binds all ages.

We’d like to thank congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen for representing us so honorably in the House of Representives and keeping the hope of a free Cuba on the agenda.

  1. Wasn’t there another political visiting? I know he was personally asked to come on over and say hi and sign the petition….
