Unbelievable (UPDATED)

On the way into work this morning they had some guy from the Democratic party calling for a protest against Republican nominee John McCain today. His beef with the Presidential contender being that a McCain presidency would have us paying $5 a gallon for gasoline.

This guy either had no clue as to what the hell he was talking about or was being downright disingenuous. It’s been the Democratic party, pandering to their greenie/envirowhacko demographic, that’s been the cause of our rising gas prices. Now, McCain’s stance on this issue may or may not be comparable to his Democratic rivals, but lets give credit where credit is due.

Here is a map of Alaska and the area designated as the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). Please note the itsy-bitsy dot that represents the area where the oil companies want/wanted to drill.

A common sense disconnect? Unbridled idiocy? You bet. But we’re dealing with libs here. We can always guarantee they’ll be stuck on stupid whatever they do.
