Cuban dumpster divers detained

Reader and frequent commenter Pototo brings us this EFE story about how the officials of castro, inc. are cracking down on the rampant dumpster diving that goes on in Havana. The report says that 350 people were detained, fined or otherwise sanctioned for digging through trash dumpsters looking for things they might be able to use or sell.

Ah the worker’s paradise. Where you are driven to scrounge for things in the trash and even that is illegal.

Here’s part 1 of a documentary I saw on TV about Cuban dumpster divers (truly sad):

  1. I bet the leftists here in the U.S. see videos like this and think, “Coño, that’s great… they’re recycling!”

Unbelievable. There you go, folks, that’s the leftist nirvana for you. Viva Fidel? Viva Che?

    Sure.
