Wascally Wepublicans

Well folks, The Messiah is at it again. He’s claiming that Republicans will use — gasp! — race to win in November:

“The choice is clear. Most of all we can choose between hope and fear. It is going to be very difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy. We know what kind of campaign they’re going to run. They’re going to try to make you afraid. They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And did I mention he’s black? He’s got a feisty wife.”

Are these the same Republicans who can boast of having two (!) black Secretaries of State, one Supreme Court justice, one black (and conservative) presidential candidate, probably the greatest living economist, etc., etc.?

What a crock of bullshit.

  1. He’s trotting out the mantra that it’s “difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy.” If I’m not mistaken, Bush was handed a hurting economy, and until recently, was able to turn it into a productive one with unemployment just over 4%. As for foreign policy, have we been attacked since SEP 11th, 2001? It’s a bullshit argument, but the Administration and the Party is doing a miserable job of defending itself. Granted, the liberal/left controls the information environment, but a hell of a lot more can be done to fight back. We need to give them a taste of their own medicine by getting ‘in their face’ and laying out the facts, rather than fighting a defensive battle. Now this piece of shit leftist is whipping out the trusted ‘race card’ to convolute things even more. We either put on our gloves and hit back hard, or it’s all over. Bottom-line: Turn the tables on them by pointing out the facts and articulate the bankrupt philosophy that Obama will bring to this great nation – and do it forcefully!

  2. Sen. Obama –

I am voting against you. This is on the basis of political differences. As for your color, I could care less. I have campaigned and voted for candidates of the “African” as well as “Caucasian” persuasion. I see it this way – with the cost of energy at present levels – NO DRILLING, NO REFINERIES, NO NUCLEAR = NO’BAMA for me. And that is just for starters.

  3. Dr. Shalit, you may have coined the perfect campaign line:

  4. I would vote for condoleezza Rice in a nanosecond and she’s both: an African-American and a woman.
