Check out the messiah, Obama, once again stuttering and refusing to admit that the surge worked. Look at the 34 second mark if you want to get to the point. What a dumbass. Now knowing that the surge worked, knowing what he knows now, he was unable to answer if he would have supported it. He claims that such a hypothetical was too complicated for him to answer. This is the man you want as Commander in Chief? Liberals are pathetic.
Here’s the transcription. Believe me, the video is better:
TERRY MORAN: The surge of U.S. troops, combined with ordinary Iraqis’ rejection of both al Qaeda and Shiite extremists have transformed the country. Attacks are down more than 80% nationwide. U.S. combat casualties have plummeted, five this month so far, compared with 78 last July, and Baghdad has a pulse again. If you had to do it over again, knowing what you know now, would you — would you support the surge?
OBAMA: No, because — keep in mind that —
MORAN: You wouldn’t?
OBAMA: Well, no, keep — these kinds of hypotheticals are very difficult. Hindsight is 20/20. I think what I am absolutely convinced of is that at that time, we had to change the political debate, because the view of the Bush administration at that time was one that I just disagreed with…”
Even more pathetic is their other leader, the San Fran Liberal Glam Queen Pelosi who is a chicken shit 9%’er Speaker of the House who is afraid of allowing a vote on oil drilling because the moderate dems will likely vote to approve it. Liberals don’t believe in democracy or in the right to vote. They only want issues close to them to come up for a vote such as federal protection for the transgendered. See that’s of importance to them, but not whether we can reduce the price of a gallon of gas. So to answer those elitist liberals as to whether Obama and the Dems are to blame for the price of gas, the answer is yes. If you deny that, you’ve just had a little to much weed with your coffee this morning. Just read Pelosi’s comments to CNN:
BLITZER: John Boehner, who’s the Republican leader in the House, he says you have to let this come up for a vote. He says that you’re walking your blue dogs, who are the moderate and conservative Democrats, and other vulnerable Democrats off a cliff by not allowing this to come up for a vote, the offshore oil drilling legislation.
PELOSI: Is that right? Well, you know, just because John Boehner, who is my friend and whom I respect, says it, doesn’t make it so. . . .
BLITZER: Are you afraid if this comes up for a vote in the House you will lose, given the support for offshore oil drilling among these so-called blue dogs, or moderate Democrats, who will join with Republicans?
PELOSI: Afraid is not a word that is in my vocabulary. . . .
BLITZER: So let me get — will you allow this issue, offshore oil drilling, to come up for a vote on the floor of the House?
PELOSI: We’re going to exhaust our other remedies in terms of increasing supply in America by…
BLITZER: So the answer is no?
PELOSI: I have no plans to do so
Yes folks, this is what you have to look forward to by electing Obama and a Socialist Liberal Democratic Congress.
