Hundreds of artists, politicians, dignitaries, art lovers, and friends of Tony Lopez appeared at the opening of the tribute to the man and his work at MDCC West Campus yesterday. I took a few photos there which can be seen on my Flickr account here.
Of course one of my favorite works is this one which is a bust he made of me back in 1973. So I’m finally on display as art.
