All I have to say about this is that the Patriot Act is not very patriotic. Big Brother is watching.
In the hands of unscrupulous leftists, yes, the Patriot Act is a menace and Big Brother is alive and well.
But it’s too early to tell whether Obie will scratch his watch or wind his butt on this one: he probably will use the Act against his critics and kill it against real home-grown terrorists.
Just look at his Chief of Staff’s track record.
