New emergency BUCL campaign

cbccuba

Bloggers United for Cuban Liberty will be conducting an emergency campaign related to the upcoming trip to Cuba by the Congressional black Caucus.  We’ll be putting out a press release on the English and Spanish newswire services.  In the release we’ll be asking the members of the Caucus who make the trip to advocate on behalf of Cuba’s political prisoners and dissidents, especially the black ones.

A campaign of this type costs a minimum of $1,200 (the cost of the PR newswire services).  We will be partnering with Cuba Democracy Public Advocacy, Corp. which has agreed to split the cost with us.  We still need to raise $600.

If you’d like to sponsor this campaign, you can donate $50 using paypal by clicking the button below:

Or if you can’t afford to sponsor you can donate a lesser amount by clicking this paypal button:

UPDATE:

Thanks to all of you who sponsored the campaign. We’ve reached our goal. Our press release will be hitting the wires tonight (Monday morning) at 3:00 AM (EDT).

  1. Sorry for the delay, but I donated as well. Hope we can reach the amount needed. This is a perfect opportunity to either use a visit by US Congressmen to embarrass the Castro regime, or to expose the CBC as a tool once and for all.
