Separated at Birth?

U.S. Chief Justice nominee, Sonia Sotomayor
U.S. Chief Justice nominee, Sonia Sotomayor
Former Cuban PRESIDENT Fulgencio Batista(Hey! if Castro qualifies as "President" amongst the entire MSM, this guy surely should.)

Please! I do not insinuate any ideological affinity between Sotomayor and former Cuban PRESIDENT Fulgencio Batista (Hey! if Castro qualifies as “President” in any and every MSM mention, then surely this guy should!)

At any rate, concentrate on the faces. I found the resemblance striking.

  1. For sure Batista was a better president than Fidel would ever be, at least you could move freely, own whatever you want, the peso was worth .10 Cents more than the dollar and you could build houses as you wish.
    Try that with Fidelito.

  2. I have read personal letters that Batista wrote to one of his American friends, and he appears to be a very kind and charismatic person. I know I will get some negative comments for writing this, but I can only tell you what I have read. He made many American friends in Daytona Beach and Mount Dora and many of them are still alive and remember him well. He gave land in Daytona Beach and there is a museum built on that land. The mayor of the city gave him a key to the city and declared it Batista Day and there was a celebration.

Did you know that back in the 50’s there was a group of Cuban orphans that came and visited Mount Dora. They were entertained and introduced to some of the Mount Dora High School kids and they all quickly became friends. Later on, those American children made a trip to Cuba and visited their new Cuban friends.

Some of those children are still alive and living in Mount Dora.

  3. If you stare long enough, an eye on each pic, you actually begin to see Rosanne Barr …

    Now I won’t sleep tonight.

  4. Yes, amigo Larry. What little Tanio heritage was left in Cuba was precisely around Batista’s birthplace, northern Oriente.

But note how regarding affirmative-action, pre-Castro Cuba left the U.S. gasping in the dust. Our grandparents (living in a nation 72 percent white)freely ELECTED a black/Indian (Obama/Sotomayor combo) SIXTY ‘freakin years before such a thing was conceivable in the U.S.!

Take THAT!, Charlie Rangel and the CBC!

  5. Humberto: Neither Batista nor Obama were elected through affirmative action. Secret ballots and AA are simply mutually exclusive.
