Those pesky Presbyterians are at it again!

Anybody up for a game of “Guess The Terrorist’s Religion?

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. announced early Tuesday that an arrest had been made in the failed Times Square car bombing, saying that Faisal Shahzad, a 30-year-old American, was taken into custody at John F. Kennedy International Airport as he tried to fly to Dubai on Monday night.

Authorities said Shahzad, who is of Pakistani origin and lived in Connecticut, had paid cash for a Nissan Pathfinder that was found packed with explosives Saturday night on a tourist-crowded block in midtown Manhattan. The vehicle was set ablaze but failed to detonate.

Officials located Shahzad after a sweeping two-day investigation that yielded what senior Obama administration officials described as a flood of international and domestic clues suggesting a plot involving more than one person.

“It was clear that the intent behind this terrorist act was to kill Americans,” Holder said at a rare middle-of-the-night news conference at the Justice Department, nearly three hours after the suspect was pulled from an international flight that had already left the departure gate.

Shahzad has family links to the southern port city of Karachi, according to Dawn television, an English-language station in Pakistan. Shahzad flew to Karachi in July 2009 on Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline of the United Arab Emirates, and returned to the U.S. via the same airline on August 5, the station said, citing unnamed sources.

Pakistani officials said U.S. authorities have asked for their help investigating Shahzad.

  1. Hmmm…..let’s see……Muslim?

It will be interesting to see if the bowing man will refer to this guy as a “radical Islamic terrorist” or just another very bad man.

  2. New York’s dearly beloved Mayor Bloomberg was hoping it would’ve been a Tea Party member. This is part of his CBS Evening news with lefty bitch Katie Couric:

  3. Ooops! Here’s the interview.

From part of Couric’s interview with the mayor aired on the Monday, May 3 CBS Evening News:

KATIE COURIC: Law enforcement officials don’t know who left the Nissan Pathfinder behind, but, at this point, the mayor believes the suspect acted alone.

MAYOR MICHAEL BLOOMBERG: If I had to guess — 25 cents — this would be exactly that, somebody-

    COURIC: A home-grown?

BLOOMBERG: Home-grown, maybe a mentally deranged person or somebody with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.

    Que Comemierda son los dos.

  4. And not to be left out… Here’s MSNBC Contessa Brewer, all “frustrated” because the New York bomber was Muslim and not “white.” I guess she was also hoping it would be a Tea Party movement member.

    The Transcript:

“Contessa Brewer: I mean the thing is is that and I get frustrated and there was part of me that was hoping this was not going to be anybody with ties to any kind of Islamic country because there are a lot of people who want to use this terrorist intent to justify writing off people who believe in a certain way or come from certain countries or whose skin color is a certain way. I mean they use it as justification for really outdated bigotry.

And so there was part of me was really hoping this would not be the case that here would be somebody who is not the defined. I mean he’s accused he’s arrested you know I don’t want to convict him before it’s time to do so. He’s the guy authorities say is involved. But that being said I mean we know even in recent history you have the Hutaree militia from Michigan who have plans to let’s face it create terror.

That’s what they were planning to do and they were doing so from far different backgrounds then what this guy is coming from. So, the threat is not just coming from people who decide that America is the place to be and you know come here and want to become citizens. Obviously this guy did.”

Hey Contessa and you don’t think you’re prejudiced?

  5. My instincts are telling me that sooner or later one of these Muslim terrorist groups is going to succeed again in their efforts and innocent Americans will become their victims.

When that happens I’m going to see a lot of these lefties idiots in the MSM (that continue living in denial) eating crow.

And is extremely obvious by now that New York city continues to be the number one target for these groups (even thought is the toughest one to hit because of increased security after 9/11).

  6. Mayor Bloomberg deserves an award for breaking the dreaded leftist Inanity Barrier.

Never mind more than forty years of airline hijackings and car, truck, embassy, and aircraft bombings, for nearly all of which the mohammedan terrorists have claimed credit.

    Nope. Forget it.

The Mayor tells fawning, cloying, lil’ Katy that the Times Square bomber was the handiwork of the left’s favorite boogieman, the ‘middle aged overweight white American gun-owning religious male who disagrees with government health policies’….etc etc ad nauseam.

Does this unusual little Mayor with entirely more dollars than sense realize he’s playing with fire, as well as making himself look silly when he speaks in such vapid, inane, manner?

Mr. Mayor, the 90s are over. We read the Net and ignore lil’ Katy and her smarmy NYC libs pallies.

We were never fooled by clinton-era spook stories about ‘evil white man gun owning militias marauding the countryside, abducting fair maidens, defenestrating old people, and drinking the blood of callow youngsters’, and other typical lies the Left pimped off to fool weak minded individuals.

Why do you think you fool anyone at present?

    Here’s the juice, Mr. Mayor:

Got bombers? Forget Swedes. Forget Pennsylvanian hunters. Quit insulting your fellow Americans and

    ….Cherchez les Terroristes Arabesques….

While you’re at it, leave our Salt shakers alone. You’re not a physician. You’re not a nutritionist. You’re just a guy with more dollars than sense who doesn’t know enough to mind his own business.

Tend to your own dietary problems, discuss them with your physician, follow his recommendations, and you’ll soon lose your desire to dictate that which we eat.

    Good health to you!
