Truth is stranger than fiction: Part 745,681

According to an AP article, lawmakers in Cuba (an oxymoron, to say the least) have passed a resolution condemning the state of Arizona’s new immigration law. This, of course, is coming from a dictatorial regime that does not allow its own people to immigrate from one city to another in Cuba and practices racial profiling with extreme prejudice.

HAVANA — Cuban lawmakers have passed a resolution denouncing Arizona’s new immigration law as “racist and xenophobic,” recalling an old dispute in the process: the argument that the United States’ purchase of Arizona from Mexico in the 19th century was tantamount to theft.

As they say, “truth is stranger than fiction.”
