No, Ms Nyad. Absolutely NOTHING went “awry,” in Cuba. In fact, all went exactly as planned. “To try to understand Castro’s politics” don’t read the Communist Manifesto, for heavens sake. That’s why you end up spouting such idiocies.
Instead read Nicolo Machiavelli’s The Prince and Adolpf Hitler’s Mein Kampf.
