The proof is in the numbers

According to U.S. government researchers, 20% of the U.S. population suffers from mental illness.

Nearly 1 in 5 Americans had mental illness in 2009

CHICAGO – More than 45 million Americans, or 20 percent of U.S. adults, had some form of mental illness last year, and 11 million had a serious illness, U.S. government researchers reported on Thursday.

It comes as no surprise then that when Gallup polled Americans and asked them their political leanings, 20% of them responded that they were liberal or very liberal.

PRINCETON, NJ — Conservatives have maintained their leading position among U.S. ideological groups in the first half of 2010. Gallup finds 42% of Americans describing themselves as either very conservative or conservative. This is up slightly from the 40% seen for all of 2009 and contrasts with the 20% calling themselves liberal or very liberal.

There you have it folks, proof that liberalism is a mental disorder!

what I am trying to say

    in my usual clumsy way

    is that any such data

    can and has been used

    for harm against any group

    opposed to a a powerful

    entrenched radical group (e.g. Nazis_

  2. Now I see what you mean, Larry.

Well, it is Friday, and my post was more of a joke than anything else. Correlation is not causation, but it sure is funny as hell how the percentage of mentally ill people in this country happens to correspond exactly with the percentage of liberals.

Yes that is a most odd

but I am looking for a deeper motive.

BTW in another proof of left wing madness (as posted elsewhere on this page):

The communists appear to have had a time machine (according to Wikipedia)

now we are expected to believe that the 4th of September 1933 coup by Batista
    overthrew Machado
who left on August 25, 1933
