Operation “Homerun” underway

As Emilio Ichikawa reported this past weekend, the Castro regime is preparing Operation “Home Run,” where baseball players will be sold to professional teams in exchange for a hefty cut of their salaries. It may have sounded like an exaggeration to some, but it looks like the plan’s wheels are in motion.

Cuba might lift restrictions, let baseball players sign abroad

The article says that major league teams in the U.S. are excluded, but that is only because of the embargo against the Cuban dictatorship. Lift that nasty embargo and the Castro regime will be able to rent its slaves to the major leagues.

Imagine the television promos: “Watch the Yankee’s slave Cuban pitcher take on the free men of the Red Sox.”
