Hey Californians! How’s that Hope & Change working out for ya?

The law of unintended (or very intended, but hidden) consequences:

Another one of California’s largest health insurers has stunned individual policyholders with news of huge rate increases — this time it’s Blue Shield of California seeking hikes of as much as 59% for tens of thousands of customers March 1.

Blue Shield’s plan comes less than a year after Anthem Blue Cross tried and failed to raise rates as much as 39% for about 700,000 California customers.

I have one word for the 112th Congress: REPEAL!

  1. Anyone who would vote for Brown now, given his track record, is the same as someone who’d vote for Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega given his. Actually, those who’ve just elected Brown may well be worse than the Nicaraguans who elected Ortega after the Sandinista disaster, since people in California are supposed to be far better educated, informed and sophisticated. Absolutely appalling.

  2. I asked my grandfather, Jose L. Fernandez de LaVozDeCubaLibre, what he thought about Meg Whitman and Joe Brown. And he said “Mas vale malo conocido que bueno por conocer.” But that being so, he still voted for Whitman.
    Me? Florida here I come.

  3. The Democrats, Liberals, Progressives or what ever they call themselves nowadays will somehow blame the Republicans who have no power in this deep blue state………and the poor sheep will relive it.
