On January 16th, 2011, please join us for a prayer vigil from 2 to 3 PM in support of Cuba’s political prisoners.

In solidarity with these prisoners of conscience, we ask that you wear black and carry a white flower. The black represents the mourning for Cuba’s imprisoned dissidents, and the white flower symbolizes the hope for their prompt release.

The prayer vigil will be held at the Ermita de la Caridad del Cobre in Miami, the National Sanctuary for Cuba’s patron saint, where a mass will be held immediately after at 3 PM.
